We're glad to come to your house and check out your LRG refrigerator not cooling but the truth of the matter is it's probably better to call LG on this one. And 99% of the cases the issue is the same: a failed compressor. Refrigerator compressors usually last 10 - 20 years but premature compressor failure is a known chronic issue with some LGs. Solution: Call LG for Possible Recall Warranty
Although we can speak for another company we have heard that LG is offering discounts and completely free warranty recall work on LG refrigerators up to 10 years old. We've heard this is true whether you're the original owner or not so the best thing to do is call LG at 1-800-243-0000 and explain that your LG refrigerator is not cooling.
If you've ever talked to a call center you've known that results vary quite a bit depending on who you talk to so if you don't get satisfactory results just call right back and talk to someone else. If you still get results call back. On the 3rd time ask for a supervisor.
